Diane M. Scouten

Diane M. Scouten, 70, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 and UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Murl L. Scouten, Sr., with whom she shared 52 years of marriage at the time of his passing in May 2025.

Born on July 3, 1955 in Lock Haven, Diane was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Peese) Hughes.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, but her greatest joy in life was being a Grammy.

Diane is survived by her three sons, Murl L. Scouten, Jr. (Melissa), of Elkland, Donald S. Scouten (Amy) of Williamsport, and Matthew J. Scouten of South Williamsport; five grandchildren, Cher Small, Kayla Small, Blake Scouten, Bradley Scouten, and Owen Scouten; five great-grandchildren, Adriana, Areyna, Thaddeus, Michael, and Kayson; brother, Richard Reeder; and sisters, Inez Reeder and Mary Louise Womeldorf.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annamae Gardner; and brother, Dale E. Reeder.

A service to honor the life of Diane will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 18th at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport, where a visitation will take place from 9 to 10:15 AM.

Burial to follow the service in Wildwood Cemetery.
